The Memorial “Franco Di Reda” has reached its third edition. This year’s organization is the responsibility of the newly formed football club FCD Atletico Bisceglie, officially established last May 7th under the presidency of Sandro Parisi. The Memorial will be held on the days of8 and 9 June at al municipal field Francesco Di Liddo of Bisceglie.
This year too the event will have the common denominator of charity, in fact, one will be implemented fundraiser (between participation fees and various sponsors) aimed at paying for part of the summer camp for children of ConTeStoLab, the third sector association involved in the care of children suffering from autism spectrum problems. At the same time, the late will be remembered with affection, three years after his passing Mister Franco Di Redafor everyone “u americans”with his family and children, including Angelo who will be an active part of the sporting event.
The tournament includes the playing of a quadrangular reserved for players over 40, i.e. those who have already reached their fortieth year of age, with the possibility of fielding a limited number of under players. The four participating teams are: FCD Atletico Bisceglie, Team Over 40 Potenza, Sporting Monopolies And Football Academy Andria.
The tournament will take place with the quadrangular formula with a round-robin format, with matches of 40 minutes each, which will take place starting from Saturday afternoon with kick-off of the first match from 3.00 pm. Once the ranking has been established, on Sunday morning, starting at 9:00, there will be the two semi-finals, the first with the fourth placed and the second with the third in the ranking. Thus there will be two finalists for first and second place (11.30 am) and for third and fourth place (10.40 am). In case of a draw in the knockout matches, the match will go straight to penalties. At the end of the tournament there will be the final awards ceremony. The hope is to have fun and gather as many people as possible to support the ConTeStoLab association, the main mission of this event.
