PD Cremona The Meloni government turns its back on the municipalities and citizens
The cuts to local authorities envisaged by the Meloni government also affect our territory: the funds cut each year to the Municipalities of the Province of Cremona for the four-year period 2024-2028 amount to 1,300,000 euros. Why put into difficulty those who play an indispensable role in guaranteeing services to people? Penalizing municipalities, large and small, is an absurd and dangerous choice.
The Democratic Party cannot accept an attempt to raise cash at the expense of Municipalities and Provinces. We ask the government to think again, because for a stronger Italy we need to invest in the territories, not make them more marginal. Local administrations must be able to carry out their role at the service of people and citizens.
A very heavy cut by a center-right far from the territories and citizens.
In the city of Cremona the right cuts 370 thousand euros, 109 thousand in Crema, 40 thousand in Casalmaggiore, 38 thousand in Pandino, 20 thousand in Soresina. Just to name a few.
A cut that weighs and will weigh on the citizens of our municipalities and our territories.
