Don Luigi Tedoldi was born on 29 April 1946 in Cà d’Andrea in the province of Cremona
The body will be exhibited inside the place of worship in via Ludovico Muratori that the priest had built and It opened on January 1, 2000 in the presence of Cardinal Camillo Ruiniat the time Pope Wojtyla’s Vicar for the Diocese of Rome.
THE funerals will be celebrated in the Setteville church tomorrow, Friday 7 June, at 3pm from the Auxiliary bishop of Rome, Monsignor Daniele Salera.
Together with the prelate, at least thirty priests they will concelebrate the mass in memory of the Lombard priest who marked a part of the history of the former village of Guidonia Montecelio: on the altar there will be the current parish priest of Santa Maria, Don Leo Torrestogether with the deputy parish priest, Don Andrea Silvestriit’s at Don Daniele Masciadricurrent deputy parish priest of Albuccione, who grew up spiritually under the wing of Don Gino, but also the parish priest of Sant’Alessio a Case Rosse, Don Giampiero CasolaroAnd Don Elia Del Preteparish priest of Santa Maria dell’Orazione in Setteville Nord of Guidonia.
They will also be there to concelebrate Don Tony Venturiellopriest born in Setteville di Guidonia and friend of Don Gino, and the priests of Redemptoris Mater seminary in Newark (New Jersey) of which Don Tedoldi was the first ordained priest.
At the end of the funeral service the priest will be buried in the Montecelio cemetery to stay in the city that had become his home for 28 years.
