The city of Cerignola has been selected as a stop on the International Beach Soccer Tour (IBST), the prestigious international beach soccer circuit. On 13 and 14 July, Piazza Duomo will transform into a sand arena to host exciting matches with some of the biggest stars in world football. The event, organized by the IBS league of former champion Maurizio Iorio, celebrates 25 years of the league and promises a sporting spectacle of the highest level. Cerignola will be one of the summer stops on the tour, offering fans the opportunity to watch breathtaking matches and
experience the unique atmosphere of beach soccer. The International Beach Soccer Tour is recognized worldwide as one of the sport’s premier events, attracting thousands of spectators and fans. The Cerignola stage will be broadcast live on Sky Sport, offering national visibility to the event and the city.
“This year too we are preparing to organize a major international sporting event. An entire beach soccer field in Piazza Duomo: all this surrounded by a fantastic setting such as our square and everything that will be built around it.
