We publish what we read on the ICG Grassa page:

An unforgettable sailing experience for the 1st D Class at Curvatura Sportiva of IC Grassa. The 1st D sports class, as part of the “Sport always wins” project sponsored by the Sicily region, had a unique educational and training experience at the Lega Navale section.

Mazara del Vallo. The students, accompanied by their teachers, boarded four sailing boats to learn the various navigation techniques, combining teaching and fun in an evocative natural context. The boats, Principessa, Blue One, Aloi and Nina, sailed the waters in front of the seafront of Mazara del Vallo, allowing students to learn fundamental practices such as tacks and jibes. Guided by expert sailors, the boys were able to put into practice what they learned in theory, developing collaboration, coordination and understanding of the dynamics of the wind and the sea. The initiative was made possible thanks to the commitment of Vito Genna, Michele Faugiana , Gaspare Russo, Giuseppe Passalacqua, Carmelo Buscaino, Massimiliano Manzella, Giovanni Craparotta, Ignazio Maniscalco, Salvatore Asaro and José Marino.

Special thanks go to the president of the Naval League of Mazara del Vallo, Pietro Tilotta, for his support of the activity. The direct contact with the natural element and the practical experience have made this educational outing a moment of personal growth and group, strengthening the bond between classmates and teachers. The outing to the Naval League of Mazara del Vallo represented not only a moment of learning, but also an opportunity for students to discover new passions, navigating towards a future full of opportunities .
