The Court of Review of Bari ordered the arrests house arrest for Elisabetta Manzari And Ruggiero Doronzothe 24-year-old and the 29-year-old finished in prison, last May 13, on charges of having exploited the prostitution of some underage girls. Manzari and Doronzo are considered by Power of attorney Of Bari, who coordinated the investigations of the flying squad, the ‘drivers’ of the girls, who accompanied them to appointments with clients in various accommodation facilities in Bari. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Manzari also made appointments between the girls and the clients.
Appeals accepted
The Review therefore accepted the appeals of the lawyers of Manzari and Doronzo, Nicolò Nono D’Achille and Carmine di Paola, who had requested the mitigation of the precautionary measure. The court, however, confirmed the prison sentence for Federica Devito, 25 years old, one of the “Squad girls” accused of having managed and exploited the prostitution of two 16-year-olds starting from 2021, and also confirmed the obligation to reside in the municipality of Lecce for the Salento lawyer Stefano Chiriatti, alleged client of two girls who were minors at the time of the events (2022)
