This agreement allows you to obtain the necessary qualifications to access international airlines. Lugo thus completes its offer by placing itself among the excellences for the training of professional pilots for both airplanes and helicopters, a capability that has been active since the early 1980s and which has allowed over 800 professional pilots to obtain patents. Students will have the opportunity to gain international flight experience at the offices of Titusville (Florida – USA), Ostrava (Czech Republic) and Dublin (Ireland)thus improving their knowledge of the English language in real situations, flying in new scenarios which will allow them to achieve a more complete preparation than those who train to fly only in Italy. This aeronautical campus will thus allow students to dedicate themselves completely to training, reducing logistical costs and improving learning effectiveness. To present these opportunities, the June 20th from 9am and, in the afternoon, from 3.30pm an Open Day will be held organized at Lugo airport, accompanied by a static exhibition of the aircraft used in the courses. “This project represents a significant opportunity for the Lugo area” declared the President Oriano Callegatipositioning the Aero Club among the main Italian institutions in the promotion of flying and the training of professional pilots, responding to the demands of the job market and offering concrete prospects to young people.
