The agreement of the Municipalities of the Lt2 socio-health district for the associated management of social services was renewed today.
The agreement was signed by the mayors of Latina, Pontinia and Sermoneta, Matilde Celentano, Eligio Tombolillo and Giuseppina Giovannoli, and for the municipalities of Sabaudia and Norma by the delegates of the respective mayors Pia Schintu and Nadia Dell’Omo.
The meeting for the signing of the agreement was held in the council room of the Municipality of Latina, the leading body of the district, in the presence of the councilor and the manager of social services of the capital, Michele Nasso and Emanuela Pacifico, and of Dr. Arianna Faiola of the social services of the Municipality of Sabaudia. The meeting also allowed the participants to take stock of some district socio-health projects already underway: “We are in the process of reaching an agreement – said Mayor Celentano on the sidelines of the meeting – with the Municipality of Sabaudia for the provision of of a property to be used at district level for the so-called ‘After us’, using Pnrr funds”.
“The agreement renewed today – specified the councilor for social services Nasso – allows the exercise in an associated form of all activities functional to the management of services and interventions of the integrated regional welfare system, also in order to guarantee coordination and integration with the health services provided by the Lazio Region health system. Furthermore – underlined Councilor Nasso – the agreement, valid until 31 December 2027, guarantees the efficient and homogeneous provision and distribution of services and benefits to the citizens of the district, in coherence with the principles of subsidiarity, proportionality and adequacy, as established by the Constitution. Furthermore, the associated management of social services aims to enhance the quality of the offer thanks to the possibility of optimizing the available resources”.
“In this year of administration – concluded councilor Nasso – I had a wonderful experience as a delegate for social services because I had the opportunity to compare myself with the other administrations within the Lt2 district, always finding the sharing of useful paths to provide equity solutions in complex areas. The renewal of the agreement further strengthens the spirit of institutional collaboration between entities for responses to our communities, without leaving anyone behind, whether they are citizens of Norma, Sabaudia, Latina, Sermoneta or Pontinia”.
