Livorno 4 June 2024 – Livorno Police Headquarters: three dangerous illegal foreign citizens repatriated on national territory

The Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters, as part of an extraordinary repatriation operation against foreign citizens illegally residing on the national territory, in the period from 6 to 18 May 2024, carried out 3 repatriations, of which 1 was against a dangerous Albanian burdened from convictions for the crimes of attempted murder and exploitation of prostitution, perpetrator of crimes such as brawling and damage during the prison period; Furthermore, 1 alternative measure to immediate repatriation was adopted and 2 expulsions with accompaniment by the Public Force to the Repatriation Center of Gradisca d’Isonzo (GO) were carried out against dangerous foreigners of alleged Moroccan and Tunisian nationality, one of the as convicted of the serious crimes of mistreatment against family members and aggravated personal injury.

These activities are the result of a fruitful collaborative relationship with the ordinary and supervisory judiciary, with the Territorial Commissions for the Recognition of International Protection and with the operational offices in the territory, as well as of a careful planning activity, impacting on the protection of order and security, removing from the territory of the Italian Republic foreigners who were staying there illegally and who, in relation to specific subjects, represented a concrete, serious and current threat to the security of the territory and of the communities of the province of Livorno.
