LEGNANO – Junior Open Day at Frogs Legnano, the historic American football team, which opens its doors to young and very young people. Appointment Saturday 8th and Saturday 15th in via Parma 77 to raise awareness of this sport, which is still (guiltily) not very widespread in Italy, but which can offer so much, particularly to younger people, and which It really allows everyone to be able to do physical activity, being outdoors, making new friends and feeling part of a group. And also to compete at the highest level, as he testifies the Frogs’ senior team in the IFLonce again among the top teams in the top league.
The Junior Open Days
The Open Days will be open to boys and girls aged 6 to 17. During the demonstrations it will be possible to try both versions of American football: that Tacklethe best known, contact sport which involves wearing a helmet and shoulder pads, and that Flagsthe increasingly emerging version that will be Olympic sport from 2028very suitable from an early age, which does not involve contact, but only the use of strips (flags) tied at the waist to stop the action. The activity of the Frogs Legnano
The Legnano Frogs are part of the Italian American Football Federation and this allows boys and girls to compete in national championships, experiencing exchanges and comparisons with other teams, sometimes even on extra-regional trips, which are very rich and stimulating. The Frogs, in addition to having the Senior Team which is competing in the top national championship, and the women’s team Flag Senior in the Italian flag championship, they are present in practically all youth categories: Tackle Under 12 and Under 15, Flag Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 and MiniFlag from 6 years.
