Teramo: first the screams of passers-by then the police, except for a young man who wanted to throw himself in front of a train

Some passers-by noticed the young man dangerously on the train tracks in the Villa Pavone area and did everything they could to dissuade him from the obvious extreme gesture he was about to commit: only the arrival of the police however saved the boy

Some passers-by notice a young man walking on the train tracks: even though he was called, he makes no sign of stopping, going towards the train that was about to arrive from Teramo. The police were alerted via the Single Emergency Number. Thanks to their providential intervention as well as the skilled maneuver of the train driver, alerted by the operations room, a life was saved. In fact, the boy, of foreign nationality, in the throes of a severe crisis was entrusted to the doctors of an ambulance that intervened and taken to the Teramo hospital where he was admitted.

The positive epilogue of this story is the synthesis of the collaboration between the protagonists of the story: the citizens who noticed the danger immediately called for help, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile who rushed to the scene, the Carabinieri of the operations center who, in addition to sending the car alerted the railways to report the danger and last but not least the train driver who, as soon as he was alerted, implemented all the procedures that allowed the train to stop safely.
