10,755.72 kilograms of Conad products were donated in the provinces of Cremona, Lodi, Mantua and Pavia thanks to the “Donate a shopping” food collection which this year too involved a total of 406 volunteers and 49 voluntary organizations involved in 26 points sale Conad.
In Cremona, No Waste Aps was activated with 25 volunteers. 542.10 kg of products were collected. In Crema, Crema Caritas Diocesana Crema, A Arms Open Crema Association, Emmaus Offanengo Pastoral Unit, Caritas Vailate, VolonVailate, Gruppo Vita ODV Spino d’Adda were activated with 81 volunteers. 2,481.50 kg were collected. In OglioPo, Le Aquile ODV, Associazione la Luce Al Nour ODV, Civil Protection Oglio Po ODV, Caritas Viadana, Gruppo Scout Viadana were activated with 42 volunteers. 2,124.50 kg were collected.
Associations and volunteers involved were an active part in the organization and management of the food collection day: every citizen could participate by transforming a daily gesture such as shopping into a gesture of solidarity: the collected products are made available to families through the activated services by the associations that have chosen to join the initiative this year too and that work daily alongside those in difficulty.
