The Carabinieri of the Parma Oltretorrente station arrested a 41-year-old man in the act of committing the crime, believed to be allegedly responsible for the crime of improper robbery.
The episode dates back to the afternoon of a few days ago when a patrol from the Parma Oltretorrente Carabinieri Station intervened in a supermarket in Via Emilia Ovest, as a security guard had been attacked.
The Carabinieri, having reached their objective in a few minutes, following the instructions of the security guard, who in the meantime was chasing the man outside the shop, stopped him near the bus stop.
In order to reconstruct the story, the soldiers who intervened made contact with the security officer who, in summary, reported that he had noticed the man wandering around inside the supermarket and taking several items from the electronic material aisle which he hid in his backpack. . Once he reached the crates, he took one of those locks and jumped over it, going beyond the barriers. At this point the employee stops him and asks for explanations. Initially the 40-year-old took a collaborative attitude, but once he realized that the Carabinieri would arrive shortly, the man began to elbow and push the security guard, managing to escape, reaching Via Emilia Ovest. The Carabinieri who arrived quickly then blocked and arrested him. The stolen goods worth approximately 500 euros, consisting of wireless headphones, battery chargers and power banks, were returned to those directly involved.
The 40-year-old, with some police reports for crimes against the person, accompanied to Strada delle Fonderie was declared under arrest and held in the security rooms awaiting the celebration of the very direct rite.
Following the validation of the arrest, the judge issued the precautionary measure of the residence ban in Parma and its province.
