Bologna, 4 June 2024 – Thirteen residence bans and nine obligations to report to the judicial police. The measures – issued by the investigating judge who accepted the request of the prosecutor and the DDA – concern the activists of the Cua and Plat collectives (between 20 and 25 years old, including several students) and arrive following the clashes of 6 December following the evictions of the building owned by the Local Health Authority in via di Corticella 115 and the building in via San Giacomo 13.

Another measure – issued in this case by the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court – concerns an activist who was hit by the ban on participation in public demonstrations. The property in Via di Corticella had been occupied last September by some families close to the Plat collective: when the police arrived to carry out the eviction, there were still some families inside.

On that occasion, the situation remained calm until late morning, when the violent clashes began in which both the demonstrators and the men from the police force (Digos personnel, including the manager Antonio Marotta, and of the Mobile Department). The investigations of the Investigations Division led to the identification of 33 activists accused, for various reasons, of unannounced demonstration, resistance and aggravated injury to a public official, throwing of dangerous objects, private violence, interruption of public service, aggravated damage also following of arson, misrepresentation and incitement to commit crime.
