A woman in her fifties was hit by a car late yesterday evening, Monday 3 June 2024, in viale XXIV Maggio in Collegno. She was transported by ambulance to the Cto hospital in Turin where she is hospitalized with a three-month prognosis for the trauma she suffered. Investigations by the Carabinieri of the mobile radio unit of the Rivoli company made it possible to discover that it was not an accident, but an attempted murder. The woman, in fact, was apparently hit on purpose by the car of her employers, a 53-year-old and a 43-year-old Italian man, for whom she works as a family worker. According to what has been ascertained, she had communicated to them her intention to leave the place.
When she was surprised last night, the victim was walking her dog. After she was hit, some witnesses called for help and recognized the model of car that she had driven away, losing track of herself. This was found shortly afterwards in the municipal area of Rivoli. The police then identified the couple, who were arrested on charges of attempted murder with the aggravating circumstance of premeditation.
