The staff of the PS Commissariat of Foligno implemented the precautionary measure of removal from the family home with a ban on approaching and communicating against a 53-year-old foreign citizen and his 37-year-old partner, held responsible for the crimes of aggravated threat in against her daughter and her boyfriend, as well as the crime of obstruction of justice.
From the investigative investigations carried out by the police – constantly coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Spoleto – it emerged that the suspects, having learned of their daughter’s relationship with an older boy, carried out numerous actions aimed at hindering this association.
On one occasion, in order to bring their daughter home – who had voluntarily left with her boyfriend – they threatened her and her partner with numerous threatening and death messages.
Furthermore, from the investigations it emerged that the suspects, in collaboration with each other and with another person – currently unknown – with violence and threats induced the daughter to make untruthful and slanderous statements towards her boyfriend, accused of sexual violence in own damage.
It was the victim who, having learned of the accusation, finally asked for help from the agents of the Foligno PS police station.
The resulting investigative investigations confirmed the couple’s story, a circumstance which led the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Spoleto to request the application of a precautionary measure against the girl’s parents.
The GIP at the Court of Spoleto, deeming that there are serious indications of guilt and precautionary needs in relation to the alleged crimes, issued a precautionary order against the suspects applying the measure of removal from the family home with a ban on approaching the parties offenses, to the workplace and to all other places usually frequented by the daughter and her partner.
Furthermore, the suspects were instructed to refrain from any form of communication with all the offended persons.
In order to ensure compliance with the provision, the GIP also ordered checks using electronic devices.
Once this provision was issued, the operators tracked down the suspects and notified the aforementioned precautionary measure.
The two suspects must however be presumed innocent until the final conviction.
