How can we concretely carry forward the digitalisation process of public offices? And what are the mistakes to avoid? We will talk about it in the next few days Foggiawhere the Province of Foggia organized an event training with the deliberately provocative title “Paper was better!“. The event, aimed at all local authorities, will be held Tuesday 11 June 2024 from 9:00 to 12:00 in the Court Room of Customs Palace to Foggia.

The initiative, strongly supported by President of the Province Giuseppe Nobiletti and the Head of Digital Transition (RTD) of the Province of Foggia Giuseppe Diella, aims to raise awareness among local authorities of the importance of digitalisation and to provide them with practical tools to face this challenge.

For the occasion, the Province of Foggia has called one of the major experts in the sector, Andrea Marella, trainer and creator of the first practical support system for the Digital Transition Manager (RTD). Marella will guide participants through the key points of the digital transition, from the Three-Year Plan for IT in Public Administration 2024-2026, with its guidelines, to the true role of the RTD, passing through the practical and operational methods for each entity, even the smallest.

The event will also focus on mistakes to avoid when the acceleration to digital begins and on the solutions that can be adopted for an effective transition. There will be an in-depth analysis of how to evaluate effective support for local authorities, which do not have the necessary resources to manage the transformation process independently.

“This event represents an important step for the Province of Foggia in its commitment to promoting innovation and digitalisation in the territory”, declared President Nobiletti. “We are convinced that the digital transition is a crucial challenge for the future of our local authorities and we want to provide them with all the support necessary to best face it”.

Participation in the event is free, subject to registration via the website. For further information, you can contact the organization on 0332.1845014.
