The Varese summer opens its doors this year with four important branded events Mad Boys Events and Concerts: off we go Friday 7 June with the first evening of “The Beautiful Season at the Club” in the location of Circle of Sant’AmbrogioPiazza Unknown Soldier 4. GVERY ELEGANTa formation from the Alto Milanese region that features within it Gianpiero Kesten (Popular Radio), The Dava (voice of Vallanzaska), Elton Novara And Taquito Torres, from 9pm they will offer a vast repertoire of international music hits revisited in a ’60s beat key. The unmissable Varese Rugby Festival returns from 13 to 15 June, cult event which, after the success of last year’s twentieth anniversary, “restarts” in 2024: it was in fact the desire of the entire organization to regain contact with the territory by proposing local artists. This doesn’t mean it will be a less fun or less quality edition. Indeed, during the months of April and May the Rugby Music Challengea competition for emerging bands which has chosen the three finalists who will perform on the stage of Campo Aldo Levi of Giubiano, as well as an artist selected through the jury’s special mention. It will be her, Scigherato start the dancing Thursday 13 June. We will then continue with 4Season Collapse in “Djs Tales”the collective will take turns on stage to make the Levi audience dance until late at night. Friday 14 Junein addition to the openings and closings of DJ TMGN and Cek&Deivwill be held there final of the “Rugby Music Challenge” directly with the artists selected during the preliminaries: Attic Studio, Marble Face And Minerva. The evening will then continue with Lostewho will present his solo project and his new single to the Varese public “High Rate” out on June 7th, with the participation of some famous guests. Saturday 15th, the closing evening of the event, will feature i Sicks, the historic rugby band from Varese, which will alternate its show with that of guests; the interesting bands will open the evening Gospel And The Clurs, already star performers of several evenings in Varese and its province. The last evening ends with LGBTQ+ DJ-Set by Cusa Dj and La Inesdirectly from Varese Pride. Aldo Levi Sports Center, via Salvore 9, Giubiano, Varese. Sunday 23 June back to Circle of Sant’Ambrogio with the review “As long as there is light there is jazz” which will also accompany the Sunday aperitifs this summer, always in memory of the late organizer and promoter from Varese Renato Bertossi. It starts with Maddalena Antona, extraordinary voice from Varese (and Santambrogina) who will perform as a duo to inaugurate this first appointment with her class and quality. The Bodio Summer Fest 2024 closes the June program, 28 and 29. Pstarted in 2023 as an experiment to liven up an area of the Varese area devoid of rock and independent events, it was immediately a great success. And so it’s back again this year Bodio Summer Festalways in the sports field ofASD Bodio Calcio in via Monte Grappa, Bodio Lomnago. As in 2023, national, international and emerging bands will alternate on stage. It begins Friday 28 June with the sensational Irish/punk music of Uncle Bard & The Dirty Bastards. The Bustocca band, although based in the area, is now a point of reference in the genre also internationally, going as far as playing in the USA and sharing the stage with sacred monsters such as Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Frank Turner. At the end of the evening the 80s/90s rock DJ set Of DJ Free Angel. More music on Saturday 29 June with emerging artists The Lives of Othersto open the concert of Vintage Violence, band now among the best of Italian indie/rock/punk, with several albums under their belt, a greatest hits, but above all hundreds of concerts throughout the Peninsula. And so that we don’t miss anything, BSF Saturday will see the return of Trashmilano with a double show, at aperitif time and in the aftershow, for double the fun with the best 90s/00s dance and commercial music.
