There 1200 Italian of 2025 will take place in Tuscany. The news was disclosed in preview during Ari-Audax national meetingwhich took place on the eve of the departure of the 12th edition of Sicilia No Stop. It will be called Tuscany Rando on the Road (TRR999) and it will go on stage from 30 May to 2 June 2025. Organized by Fabio Bardelli, Luca Bonechi And Marco Golfariniwill have departure and arrival at Volterrain the province of Pisa, and will affect the entire territory of Tuscany.
The initial part of the route will point north and east Castelnuovo di Garfagnana will reach the northernmost point. It will cross the Versilia on the historical Via Aurelia and then Livorno it will run for a short stretch along the coast. The first third of the itinerary will end with the crossing of the finish line Volterrafrom where a very long ring will begin that will touch the Siena area (Saint Gimignano) and will go up to the sanctuary of Chiusi della Vernaprovince of Arezzo, in the heart of the Apennines. Through the Val d’Orcia and the Crete Senesi will go down to the Maremma. After Orbetello and the Monte Argentariothe ascent towards the north will begin, which includes the passage from Grosseto, Follonica And Bibbona.
To complete the TRR999 route, randonneurs will have a 90 hour availabilitythe classic maximum time set for patents of 1,200 kilometers. The departure will be on May 30, 2025 in Volterra, at 9 pm.
