Ravenna Boxing at the Italian Under 22 championships

More satisfaction for Ravenna boxing, which last weekend saw two of the boxers from the team of Alberto Servidei, former European champion, involved in the Italian Under 22 championships.
The tournament took place in Roccaforte di Mondovì and included the participation of the selection of the best under 22 boxers in Italy. The Ravenna boxers competing were Martina Marzola for the 63 kg category and Imam Bouhouch, 92 kg. Marzola was defeated in the quarter-finals by the more experienced boxer from Campania D’Alessandro, Martina however demonstrated that she can compete at a national level. Imam Bouhouch, on the other hand, after beating the multi-time Italian under-18 champion Laziale Falchi in the semi-final, in the second round, was defeated in the final by the giant Veneto Chime, who with his length and speed of legs, prevailed on points over the strong athlete Ravenna.
Imam, overall Italian vice-champion, has reconfirmed himself at the national top and the possibility of moving up to the professional ranks is looming for him.
On the same weekend, at Rimini Wellness, Ravenna Boxe, led by maestro Mara La Neve, won two golds at the regional Gym Boxing championships with the athletes Matteo Bezzi in the Master 67 kg category and Sante Alberani in the Over 81 kg category.
