Official: Jorge Martin moves to Aprilia Racing
The MotoGP rider market is heating up. After Ducati’s decision to hire Marc Marquez as Pecco Bagnaia’s new teammate in the official team starting from the 2025 season, Aprilia wasted no time and closed on the hiring of Jorge Martin. The Noale team, in fact, through a note issued on its official channels, announced the arrival of the Prima Pramac centaur, who will take the place of Aleix Espargarò.
“Jorge Martín could only be the ideal rider to guarantee continuity after the announcement of the retirement of Aleix Espargaró who has always been Martín’s friend and mentor. Martín has signed a multi-year contract with Aprilia Racing starting from 2025, the Team and the entire Piaggio Group welcome a rider who best represents the desire to establish himself at the top of MotoGP” this is the note issued by the Venetian team.
