AC Milan is pleased to announce the opening of a new AC Milan International Academy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with Ball Beast Academy LCC, a local startup that supports the development of projects that promote sporting activity and empowerment for young people male and female footballers.
The presentation event of the new center of excellence, dedicated to the well-being of young people and the development of the talent of future generations, was hosted by the Dubai Sports Council, responsible for the development of the sports sector in the Emirate, through programs and activities designed to create awareness, cultivate talents and stimulate creativity. Announcing and exploring the details of the new long-term project in the region was a delegation from AC Milan, led by CEO Giorgio Furlani, together with Chief Commercial Officer Maikel Oettle, Regional Director Greta Nardeschi and Milan Legend Serginho, accompanied by Hassan Alameddine, General Manager of Ball Beast Academy.
The creation of a new Academy in Dubai represents a new important stage in the Club’s global expansion strategy, led by RedBird Capital Partners: further testimony to the attention and rooting in a key territory, confirmed by the opening last November of Casa Milan Dubai , the new Rossoneri headquarters in the Middle East, and previously by the partnership with Expo 2020.
Also present in the area through the longest active Academy, inaugurated 15 years ago in Kuwait, which has hosted over 5 thousand boys and girls over time, AC Milan intends to make skills and experiences available to contribute to the generation of a healthy and of excellence, which reflects the principles of the Milan Method, in an area that thrives on passion for the Rossoneri colours: in the entire MEA (Middle East & Africa) area, AC Milan is the most supported Italian club and is positioned in the top 10 of the clubs World Cup, with around 2.5 million fans in the United Arab Emirates alone.
