The stars of Rhythmic gymnastics they return to shine in the mountains of Trentino in the challenge between the best individualists for the titles of 54th edition of the Italian Absolute Championshipsscheduled at the Palasport in Folgaria from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th June. A weekend full of great gymnastics, which will also feature many teams from all over the country in the finals of the Student, Open and Youth ensemble championships. The show will be guaranteed, for the fifth consecutive year – the debut on ‘mountain of champions’ dates back to 2020 – from the organization of the Italian Gymnastics Federation in collaboration with the local company Gym Club Ala and with the Alpe Cimbra Tourism Company, as part of the federal partnership agreement with Trentino Marketing and with the support of the Municipality of Folgaria.

There will be 21 gymnasts competing for the prize, and there is one of the favourites definitely Sofia Raffaeli, who confirmed her place as continental vice-champion at the European Championship in Budapest, also winning the gold medal in the ball final. The agent of the Fiamme Oro of the State Police has held the title for two consecutive years, after the latest success of Milena Baldassarri in 2021. The national teammate, an Air Force aviator, also shone in Hungary, finishing in 6th place in the European all-around, while last year in Folgaria she boasted the silver medal. The competition will open Friday 7 June with the Allieve Ensemble qualifiers and the following final between the best eight teams. In the evening, the Absolute Championship starts which follows the international program – also in view of the appointment with the World Cup in Milan at the Mediolanum Forum from 21 to 23 June – and will be divided into two parts. Hoop and ball on Friday evening from 8.00 pm and at the same time the following day, with the club and ribbon exercises that will award the title at the end of the general competition. Saturday 8 June The qualifiers for the Youth and Open team competition will also take place. In the end, Sunday 9 June it will end with the specialty finals of the Absolutes and with the Youth and Open eight-man finals.

The race will be broadcast in full on the web live on Sportface TV. On the new OTT of the Nexting group, the final of the Ensemble Allieve will be broadcast on Friday 7 June from 6.30 pm and the first part of the all-around from 8.00 pm. On Saturday 8 June you will be able to follow the second round of the general competition, always at the same time. Finally, on Sunday 9 June, again on the platform, all fans will be able to enjoy the specialty finals of the Assoluti from 12.15, as well as the finals of the Youth and Open Together (from 9.45).
