Acilia – Yesterday in an exciting day of sport at the Town Padel Sports Center, the Gotham Park team triumphed, winning the title of provincial champion in the Gold category. With this victory, the team qualified for the Regional Masters and, in case of victory, subsequently, for the National Masters of the Italian Cup. Marco D’Andrea and Federico Tecchi. Gotham Park’s path to the title was not without obstacles. In the semi-final, they faced Padel Town. The challenge was intense and was decided with a play-off. The pair composed of Marco Pasqualetti and Fabio Arata won the first match over Simone De Santis, Riccardo Cullari, with a score of 6/3 6/1. However, Federico Tecchi and Marco D’Andrea lost their match 4/6 5/7 to Alessandro Vaccarella and Daniele De Dominicis making a play-off necessary. Here, Davide Ciarla and Fabio Arata took to the pitch and prevailed with a clear 6/2 6/4, against Alessandro Vaccarella and Simone De Santis, ensuring Gotham Park reached the final. In the final, Gotham Park faced the strong team of Conti Sporting City (Bruno Conti’s Sports Center). The first match saw Marco Pasqualetti and Fabio Arata win over Antonino Grimaudo and Emanuele Giacoia, with a difficult but deserved 6/4 7/6. However, Federico Tecchi and Marco D’Andrea were unable to contain their opponents, losing to Andrea Conti Andrea Di Sieto, with a score of 4/6 6/7, the same as in the semi-final. The victory was then decided by a crucial play-off. The pair formed by Davide Ciarla and Fabio Arata gave Gotham Park the title by beating Massimiliano Trapletti and Andrea Conti, son of Bruno, with a score of 6/2 5/7 10/2, closing an exciting match. After the winning point, joy exploded among the players, coaching staff and supporters at Gotham Park. This victory, in their first participation, represents a historic result for the company of president Fabrizio Grillo, who now looks with confidence to the next commitments in the Regional Masters. Gotham Park has proven to be a compact and determined team, capable of facing excellent opponents. Their performance was a testament to commitment and team spirit, elements that will be crucial for the upcoming events.
