Third edition for “Naples Fest”now an unmissable spring event in the Staglieno district, which brings the flavors and traditions of Neapolitan culture to the streets.
NAPOLI FEST 2024, sponsored by the Municipality of Genoa – Municipio IV Media Valbisagno – will allow participants to experience an evening of good food and entertainment, in the setting of the Cavagnaro Gardens (Piastra GE-est) starting from 5 pm with the self-defense demonstrations.
At 7pm the food stands will open with the most authentic Neapolitan street food: real fried pizza (in the “white” or “red” versions), DOP buffalo mozzarella from Campania, ‘o per e ‘o musso (literally the foot and the pig’s snout, another ancient “street” specialty), almond and pepper taralli, farfalle, babà and pastiere.
The variety show, created and hosted by Francesco D’Agostino, will begin at 8pm. DOC Neapolitan showman, with great experience in tourist villages, will accompany the participants with sketches, music and cabaret with laughter guaranteed for everyone. DJ set from 11pm to dance until midnight.
“The entertainment will not just be music – declares the association’s spokesperson Diego Masino – we will have a cabaret show which will be assisted by the Macherè, the Association’s theater group, which recently made its debut at the Govi theater with a show by Vincenzo Salemme which was sold out.”
“This year we are entering a different dimension – states Oreste Manzi, president of the Association –. After the first two editions held in the square in front of the Association’s headquarters, and given the great success, we decided to move to the Cavagnaro Gardens where there will be more space. A much larger area will allow us to have better organization, which translates into fewer queues and therefore more time to have fun and enjoy the delicacies we offer.”
