Electrolux Group was included among the top 100 companies in the first edition of the ‘World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2024’, the ranking of the most sustainable organizations in the world drawn up by the American magazine TIME.

Electrolux is ranked 89th among the 5,000 companies monitored thanks to its commitment to several of the most recognized climate programs, such as the one promoted by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) which aims to limit global warming to 1.5°C, in line with the Paris Agreement on climate. In addition, Electrolux, like the other companies present in the top positions of the ranking, has obtained a high score from CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) and has long since included sustainability within its business models.

“This recognition means a lot to us. We continue to strive to reduce our carbon footprint based on scientific data, as well as work to improve the society in which we operate,” says Elena Breda, Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer of Electrolux Group.

A total of 5,000 leading global companies from various sectors were analyzed. The ranking aims to promote corporate responsibility and contribution to a more sustainable world. The evaluation is based on environmental sustainability criteria, such as emissions targets and energy efficiency, but also on social sustainability criteria, such as the approach to diversity and workplace safety.
