For the mayor of Villa Santa Maria, Giuseppe Finamore: “This year the memorial was concentrated in just one area of the sports facilities, due to the renovation works, with the reconstruction of the synthetic grass playing field and the modernization of the changing rooms. Despite this, we wanted the third edition of the event to take place in the best possible way and with all the planned activities. Today we celebrated the memory of an upright administrator of our territory who did everything he could for the development of the territory, also looking to the future. Alfredo left us so much and this is why we want to always be present in these circumstances, in memory of his person and his great personality.”

The director of Anci Abruzzo, Massimo Luciani, added: “The mayors of the internal areas are the guardian of the territory, Alfredo was this for his fellow citizens and for the territory. I had the pleasure of meeting him within the Anci and working with him on the Land Bank project, which involves the restitution of abandoned lands to the community. He wasn’t just thinking about his municipality but about the territory as a whole.”
