On 5 June 2024, at 10:00 am, in the characteristic setting of Piazza Castello in Ferrara, the celebrations for the 210th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Carabinieri will take place. The ceremony, which the Provincial Commander Col. Alessandro Di Stefano wanted for the first time outside the barracks in Via del Campo, will be attended by the highest provincial authorities, a representation of the soldiers of the Carabinieri and of the National Carabinieri Association ( ANC) with the banner of the city section, the decorated banners of the Province and Municipalities, the fighting and military associations and the school groups.
From sunset on June 4th to dawn on June 5th, the Estense Castle will be illuminated in red and blue, the colors of the Benemerita. On the morning of June 5th, in Largo Castello, in addition to the ceremony, a gazebo will be set up with a photographic exhibition on the theme “Women in the Carabinieri” and historical vehicles and uniforms will be on display.
The Carabinieri of Ferrara will be happy to welcome all citizens who will like to testify, with their presence, the feelings of esteem and affection for the Institution.
