Safe nightlife in Portici, more checks after the mayor’s alarm

In Portici, in the province of Naples, controls have been intensified to ensure safe nightlife.

After the alarm raised by the mayor Vincenzo Cuomo, worried by the flows of young people who crowd the Granatello premises every weekend, putting public order at risk, the prefect intervened. The issue was discussed in the provincial committee for public order and safety.

Over the past weekend, the soldiers of the Guardia di Finanza of the provincial command took to the field, carrying out a wide-ranging operation.

145 checks were carried out on people, of which 41 were minors, and 64 checks on vehicles. The operation led to the contestation of 2 Highway Code reports in the nightlife areas.
