Latina, 3 June 2024 – Un 27 year old boy was shot in Latina in the entrance hall of her home: the episode comes after the one that saw a victim 16-year-old massacred in the face with blows from a bottle (read here).
“These are very serious episodes. In strongly condemning the two attacks, he goes the perception of safety in our city, which has too often been put to the test, has been re-established”. These are the words of the mayor of Latina Matilde Celentano in light of what happened in the last few hours a condominium in Viale Nervi and in the pub area. The first citizen immediately contacted the Prefecture of Latina to request an urgent request meeting of the public order and safety committee. Request immediately accepted by the prefect Maurizio Falco who called the committee meeting for tomorrow.
“For months we have been opening a shared path with the police forces, of whom I thank all, to stem widespread critical situations. These latest episodes clearly tell us that we must continue with the working method already outlined raise the bar of supervision and control. And this is what we must talk about tomorrow in the committee for public order and safety”, concluded Mayor Celentano.
