Discovering the cycling routes in the Cesena hinterland. Starting today, throughout the week, on the Sky Sport channels, the territory of the Unione Valle del Savio will be the protagonist of the program “Salite da Incubo”, a well-known program dedicated to cycle tourism which, for the occasion, has put the spotlight on on the Cesena hills and on the roads beaten by Marco Pantani.

The Pantani monument, in Montevecchio, Borello, Bora Alta, Piavola, Casalbono, Villa Silvia-Carducci and Cesena, until arriving in Piazza Maurizio Bufalini in front of the Malatestiana Library. During the episode, promoted by the Union of Valle del Savio Municipalities and hosted by the journalist Patrick Martini, the tour guide Ivan Severi will speak and has been entrusted with the story on the tourist excellences of Cesena and its surroundings.

An important episode to enhance the cycle tourism routes of the Cesena hinterland, not only for racing bikes in the footsteps of Pantani but also for those who prefer dirt roads, a few kilometers from Cesena. The Valle Savio Union continues its path of promoting all-round cycle tourism on the Savio Routes, in line with Romagna Bike by Visit Romagna, combining tourism on pedals with cultural tourism: the episode in fact offers the opportunity to talk about the excellence tourist attractions in Cesena, such as Villa Silvia-Carducci, with the Musicalia mechanical music museum and the literary park dedicated to Carducci, and the splendid Malatestiana Library, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
