At Russoli an experiential laboratory for the blind

Thanks to the 22nd edition of Catarsini Awardborn in memory of the Viareggio artist Alfredo Catarsini, the “Russoli” high school in Pisatomorrow, Tuesday 4 June at 11.30 am, will inaugurate the experiential laboratory for the blind and visually impaired.

In the presence of the Tourism Councilor Paolo Pesciatini and the president of the Catarsini Foundation, Elena Martinellithe laboratory setup will open with two finalist works of the Catarsini Prize, which they reinterpreted and made two works by Alfredo Catarsini tactilely legiblethat is to say Mechanical symbolism with figure of 1972 and Trabaccolo all’Annunziata of 1954, made respectively by Riccardo Bevilacqua and from Daniele Rizzoboth of class 5C.

The head teacher will also take part in the inauguration Gaetana Zobelbeyond Marco Mariottinicouncilor of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Pisa, Gianluca De Felice And Roberto Celarespectively secretary and director of the technical office of the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, Roberto Celaand teachers Simonetta Catassi, Mariangela Lo Faro, Giulio Gamberucci, Samuel Bozzi And Massimo Villani.

The presence of all the students who participated in the 2024 edition of the Catarsini Prize is also expected, namely Riccardo Bevilacqua (5C); Cuka Etleva, Alessandro Raffaelli, Lara Zanchelli (4B); Gemma Bandinelli, Afrah PalazziDaniele Rizzo (5C); Zeno Algranti, Alessio Angelino, Elio Bretzel, Asia Leporini, Valentina Monti, Aracely Redi, Melissa Rispoli, Giulio Sabbatini, Elisa Simi, Giulia Vislino (5E Figurative Arts).
