TREVISO – A month after the attack suffered by a young woman in Treviso, the Carabinieri have identified and arrested the alleged perpetrator. The victim had been immobilized, robbed and threatened with being burned alive from a stranger who asked her for one paid service.

According to the reconstruction of the investigators, the man had approached the girl on the street, asking her for paid sexual intercourse. Faced with her refusal, he attacked her, immobilized her and robbed her of the money and valuables in her possession. Not satisfied, she had also threatened to set her on fire.

Thanks to the investigations carried out by the Carabinieri, about a month after the episode, it was possible to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrator. This is a person already known to the police, who will now have to answer for the charges.

Therefore, the Carabinieri of Treviso, following investigations under the direction of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, executed the precautionary custody order in prison issued against the man. The incident dates back to April 28th.
