Illegal parking and traffic in the historic centre, after yearswild transit triggers a super fine. THE STANDARD

In fact, access “and transit to any speed accelerator (including skates and scooters)” is prohibited. It’s still. OTHER PROHIBITIONS
The new regulation, according to what is read in the draft, provides in article 18 «Protection of historical, artistic, monumental areas and assets and places of worship». Pursuant to paragraph 2 «any conduct that hinders the usability of the historical, archaeological, artistic and monumental heritage or that alters, in any way, its state of conservation is prohibited», «equally, it is expressly forbidden to compromise in any way , including with posters, signs, writings and any other unauthorized instrument, the artistic, historical and monumental heritage of the city, the recognized areas of archaeological interest, the churches and any other place of worship”. Paragraph 4 of article 18 goes into the merits of the cases of behavior not to be adopted near sensitive places. «It is forbidden to adopt – we read – behaviors that are generally disrespectful of the cultural value recognized by the community of monuments, such as lying down, or standing, even occasionally or temporarily, consuming food and/or drinks, if present in the churchyards of places of worship, monuments and near palaces and buildings of monumental artistic interest”. So stop eating takeaways on the steps of the Duomo or near churches and places of historical and artistic interest. The ban on playing football has been confirmed in «Piazza della Libertà, Piazza Giacomo Matteotti, Piazza Flavio Gioia, Piazza Abate Conforti, Piazza Alfano I, Piazza don Enzo Quaglia, via Giovanni da Procida, via Roberto il Guiscardo, via dei Mercanti, Piazza Sedile del Campo».
Strict ban on «playful activities (for example playing football) that generate disturbance to urban safety and public peace as well as potentially prejudicial to the protection of artistic heritage (flooring, building facades)». At this point we are only waiting for the enforcement of the new regulation which certainly does not leave much room for uncivilized behavior in the heart of the city and the nightlife.
