An evening of seven goals in two matches, that of the second leg semi-finals of the Serie C playoffs, with Carrarese and Vicenza reaching the final. At the “Menti” it is 2-1 between Vicenza and Avellino, Della Morte and Costa are the signatures of the red and white victory. However, the match at the “Vigorito” stadium between Benevento and Carrarese ended 2-2. The guests, thanks to the home win in the first leg, needed a draw to reach the final. Decisive goals from Finotto and Cicconi, both comebacks.

Only 180 minutes remain to be played in the Serie C playoffs which will determine the fourth team promoted to Serie B after Mantua, Cesena and Juve Stabia. The first leg will be held in Vicenza on 5 June (9pm), while Carrarese will finish in front of their home fans on 9 June (5.30pm).
