TREVISO | BAD WEATHER, MASTRONICOLA: «THE MOST CRITICAL MOMENT? THE DOUBLE EMERGENCY ASOLO-CASTELFR… – ANTENNA THREE

02/06/2024 TREVISO – Over 500 civil protection volunteers made themselves available during the two weeks of bad weather throughout the Marche with exceptional coordination. The volunteers’ appeal is to have a greater awareness of the risk. The most difficult moment? The emergency at the same time in Castelfranco and Asolo || The double emergency, Asolo and Castelfranco. These are the days in which the Treviso area was most affected by bad weather, speaking to Riccardo Mastornicola, coordinator of the civil protection of Treviso, spearhead of the Rescue Coordination Centre, a few hours of sleep a night, to manage the emergency together with the firefighters of the provincial fire brigade command. Thanks for the tireless work of the volunteers between CCs and Coc of Castelfranco. The provincial council of Treviso has now decided to establish the provincial group which will have to have a statute like the other provinces of Veneto. Meanwhile, the recruitment of the group of new recruits continues, the training courses offered by the Civil Protection of Treviso are different and at different levels. We always start from the concept of self-protection, how to keep yourself safe. – Interviewees RICCARDO MASTRONICOLA (TREVISO CIVIL PROTECTION COORDINATOR), MARIA TERESA MIORI (TREVISO CIVIL PROTECTION) (Service by Anna De Roberto)
