“We are pleased to announce the Rome Foil Festival, an unprecedented event that will be held from 15 to 18 May 2025 on the picturesque Lake Bracciano.
This event was born from the idea of Alessandro Pace and was developed thanks to the contribution of professionals in tourism, relations, sport, and lawyers and accountants.
With the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Safety, the Lazio Region, CONI Lazio, Assonautica, the municipalities of Anguillara Sabazia, Bracciano and Trevignano Romano, the Regional Natural Park Authority of Bracciano-Martignano, the Consorzio Lago di Bracciano and the DMO Beltur, the Rome Foil Festival promises to be an unmissable event.
What is the Rome Foil Festival?
The Rome Foil Festival aims to enhance the water element of Lake Bracciano through the organization of nautical events and demonstrations with sustainable navigation at the centre. With the collaboration of the Regional Natural Park Authority of Bracciano Martignano, the Lake Bracciano Consortium and all the nautical clubs on the lake, we want to make Lake Bracciano a point of reference for ethical and sustainable sporting practice. The foiling competitions, regattas and practical tests will offer participants a unique experience, enhancing the beauty and potential of our lake.
Exhibition and Innovation Village
The festival is not limited to nautical events. We have planned the creation of a trade fair village along the shores of the lake, which will serve as a crucial hub for leading companies and operators in the water sports and environmental sustainability sectors. Innovation, experience and passion will meet in a dedicated space, offering unique opportunities for B2C, collaborations and knowledge exchange. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase and test the latest technologies and products, with direct access to the water for hands-on demonstrations.
“Beyond the Lake” experiences
The Rome Foil Festival goes beyond the nautical event, offering a rich program of activities “Beyond the Lake”. Visitors will be able to discover the surrounding area through trekking and biking routes, food and wine experiences with tastings of typical local products and visits to artisan workshops. These activities will enrich the festival,
attracting a varied audience and revealing all the beauties and opportunities of Lake Bracciano.
