Messina and its Administration do not have a green thumb. Nor the ability to protect and finish what they start. The striking example is just 10 days after its inauguration on Aldo Moro Parkalso used as a backdrop for the electoral campaign of Cateno De Luca with lots of Mayor Basile at his sideand always in defiance of what is available the electoral lawtoday that “jewel” presents itself as it shows Salvatore Todaro, doctor and former mayoral candidate for Messina, in the relentless photos he publishes in one of his social posts. The photos speak clearly: the green lawn is no longer green, it is now yellow and almost burnt, the plants that have just been placed are already dry and the entrance gate is, as you can see, as if it were still a construction site. In short, a work, the result of public money, that of the people of Messina, which was inaugurated with great fanfare and, as it appears today, in a hurry but which is already in disrepair. Not to mention the architectural barriers that remain and are completely not in compliance with the law. What will the Basile administration say now? Perhaps she is too busy in the electoral campaign, even though she absolutely shouldn’t be doing so given that she violates the article of law which prohibits direct electoral communication to public bodies such as the Municipality.
