A waterspout appeared in the skies of Livorno in the afternoon of Sunday 2 June. The atmospheric phenomenon, similar to a whirlwind, was spotted and immortalized complete with a video shared on social media.

A strong wave of bad weather affected on the day of Sunday 2 June, Republic Day, the Tuscany region and the entire Central-North. Strong storms hit Northern Italy, but also along the coast of Tuscany where they were also spotted several waterspouts. In particular in the afternoon today, Sunday 2 June, one large waterspout was spotted off the coast of Livorno. The event was filmed and immortalized by a user and shared on social media.
