Iandoli in Rome alongside Meloni: ««We want real change for Avellino, in the name of Brothers of Italy»

From the stage in Piazza del Popolo, alongside Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Modestino Iandoli, candidate for mayor of Fratelli d’Italia for Avellino, yesterday 1st June, wanted to reiterate to the audience of the Capital the cornerstones of his electoral campaign, one built on a precise political identity, strong in planning imbued with values and concrete objectives, aimed at building a new ruling class for the city of Avellino, hopefully finally, if the citizens want it.

Here are some of Modestino Iandoli’s most significant statements from the Roman stage

«Friends and friends are here as a mayoral candidate for the city of Avellino, the only provincial capital to vote for Campania, a region still bitterly held hostage by Vincenzo De Luca’s Democratic Party.

My candidacy is not only a precise party choice, but it takes upon itself the burden and responsibility of representing the political centre-right in my city.

While others openly show their weakness in a civility of convenience, we have remained faithful to our values, our vision, our history, aware of the fact that civility as expressed in Avellino is nothing more than the tattered garment of transformism .

We will never give up our identity and our values. We could never have given in to agreements with the “repudiated followers” of the PD and the Center-Left who have always “disgoverned our city”.

We have kept the bar on starboard without falling into transformism which mystifies the identity of the political project.

Avellino today is experiencing an unprecedented moral crisis and a clear, clear and transparent response was needed.

If we had not made the choice to be on the front line, but the more comfortable and reassuring one of the front row, we would have failed in our ideas and in that pact with the voters which allowed Fratelli d’Italia to be credible and therefore to become the first party in the nation.

If we had chosen convenient alliances, the Brothers of Italy would not be in government today and we in Avellino have consistently pursued the same path.

We will no longer allow “political insiders” to steal the dreams of our young people because we will guarantee that merit is the only lever for establishing oneself in life.

The goal is to build an inclusive and participatory city together, in which no one will be left alone in their solitude. We will build the new capital of Irpinia, the land of De Sanctis and Dorso, on culture, because only culture makes man truly free.

Our Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is changing Italy and after the vote on 8/9 June she will certainly change Europe too.

Italy has rediscovered national pride and the leading role that belongs to those who founded Europe. There cannot be Europe without Italy and there cannot be Italy without Giorgia Meloni.”

Thus Modestino Iandoli, candidate for mayor of the Brothers of Italy for Avellino.
