The player from the Brianza team was desolate, also because, as it turns out, the forgetfulness was not his but that of those who follow the various practices relating to his cars. The checks date back to Wednesday afternoon last week in the Eurotaverna area of Desio. The officers were stationed for a normal activity that is carried out on city streets, near the gates.
The Monza defender, who lives in Seregno, was probably returning to the city. As with many other motorists, the Desiana Local Police stopped Caldirola’s car, then the officers asked for the documents and, according to normal routine, proceeded to check the insurance. It was at that moment that they realized that the expiry date had now passed and the renewal had not been carried out. The Desi policemen, therefore, could not do anything other than seize the car and issue the fine.
The player, very sorry, immediately proceeded with the payment of the fee, in a reduced amount as expected for those who pay immediately, in order to be able to close the unpleasant incident as soon as possible. Among other things, just on Wednesday morning the Luigi Berlusconi – Monzello Sports Center hosted the boys of the «Insieme per Fily Onlus» Association, of which Caldirola is a testimonial, who attended the training session of the red and whites. The young fans also took to the pitch and had fun with the Monza players, including free kicks, penalties and practice matches.
