This afternoon in Piazza del Popolo, where in 2022 Giorgia Meloni took the lead in the political elections, a victory that opened the doors to the first female president of Palazzo Chigi, and which finally gave Italy back the dignity of a leading country in In Europe and in the world, there is also the FdI federation of Parma, which left this morning with a tricolor bus full of supporters, as happened from all the provinces of Italy, as well as those who chose to reach the rally by train or car.
Today with Giorgia Meloni, her people launch the challenge in view of the European vote on 8 and 9 June: the last act of a campaign that will see our prime minister and leader of the Brothers of Italy, candidate as head of the list in all the constituencies, and which with Stefano Cavedagna as the leading candidate in Emilia Romagna, is intended to be a good omen.
“With Giorgia, Italy changes Europe” is the slogan that has been accompanying our community since mid-April, and it is the sign of a good omen from a leader who, as in Italy, is demonstrating that we can and must respect the commitments made with the Italians, we can do the same in Europe. Our entire Province is present at this important event.
We are carrying out a truly incisive European election campaign. We are convinced that the European Union must deal with the great issues of our time: foreign policy, defence, the security of external borders, the regulation of the migration phenomenon, the single market and energy, leaving national policies to the competences of individual states. A thought summarized in the motto of the European conservatives: Europe does less, does better. And we start from Piazza del Popolo.
