GALLARATE – SARONNO – Paolo Mazzucchelli was unanimously re-elected president of Alfa, the Integrated Water Service Manager of the province of Varese.
His appointment took place during the annual meeting which took place this afternoon in the Sala Napoleonica of the Ville Ponti in Varese.
For the election of the Board of Directors, two lists were presented and, in addition to the same, they were elected Mazzucchelli and Maria Vittoria Sala for list 1, Marco Cavallin, Luca Conte and Maria Sole De Medio for list 2.
For the appointment of this body, the company had issued a public notice for the collection of applications, with the aim of allowing anyone who met the requirements to be able to enter the list of possible choices. The Assembly, composed of the President of the Province and the mayors – or their delegates – of 136 municipalities (133 in the province of Varese), at the opening of the session approved the 2023 financial statements, which closed with over 107 million euros in turnover and a profit of approximately 5.6 million euros which will be totally reinvested in local projects. The company’s first sustainability report was also approved. We then proceeded with the appointment of the members of the Board of Statutory Auditors, the extension of the members of the Supervision and Control Steering Committee and the determination of the compensation for the members of the Board of Directors.
