On May 28, the State Police of Forlì-Cesena arrested a man for having violated the requirements imposed by the special surveillance to which he was subjected.

At 3.50 a police car stopped a car traveling at high speed in Viale Bolognesi in Forlì. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was burdened by the measure of special surveillance, notified four days before in the Police Headquarters offices, with a ban on staying in another municipality and the requirement not to leave the home from 9.00 pm to 7.00 am.

Upon further inspection, the operators ascertained that the car did not have insurance coverage or inspection, and that the man’s driving license had expired a month ago. Finally, taking into account the symptoms of alcoholic intoxication displayed, the man was accompanied to the local Traffic Police Section, to be subjected to a breathalyzer test, which however the man refused to submit to.

The man was arrested for violating the prescription imposed by the special surveillance measure, and reported for refusing to be tested for alcoholic intoxication; finally, administrative sanctions were imposed against him for violations of the highway code. The arrest was validated, with judgment postponed due to the request for time to defend presented by the arrested person’s lawyer.
