The three young people swept away by the flood of the Natisone river in Premariacco, in the province of Udine, are still missing. They are Patrizia Cormos, 20 years old, Bianca Doros, 23 years old, and the latter’s boyfriend, Cristian Casian Molnar, 25 years old. The three had decided to take a walk in the river bed last Friday and then reached a small island in the center of the river bed on foot. When the water level began to rise, it was impossible for the young people to return to shore. At that time there was a yellow alert in the area, with flooding and inconvenience throughout the region, and for this reason there is a ban on bathing in the river due to the danger of drowning.
Who are the three missing in Natisone?
Patrizia Cormos, born in Colleferro (Rome) and resident in Campoformido in the province of Udine, is a second year student at the Tiepolo Academy of Fine Arts in Udine. On the day of the accident, she had taken a 3D modeling exam, relatives of the 20-year-old said. After the exam, Cormos had accepted the invitation of her friend, Bianca Doros, to take a car ride and a walk along the Natisone with her and her boyfriend.
Bianca Doros, originally from Romania, had been in Italy for a few days to visit her family. Together with her was Cristian Casian Molnar, also of Romanian origin and resident in Austria. When they arrived at the “beach” of Premariacco, the sky was incredibly clear after many hours of rain and access to the riverbed was easy and completely dry, as was the path that leads to the hill that rises in the center of the stream bed.
