The triumphal season of the Modena Primavera team led by coach Paolo Mandelli is not over yet. After the conquest, last Saturday, of the promotion to Primavera 2 obtained following the double match with Pro Vercelli (draw in Piedmont, clear victory in the return leg in Savignano sul Panaro with the final result of 4-0, in the photo), today is the day that will determine the winner of the category championship.

Starting at 3pm at the old Mirabello stadium in Reggio Emilia, the young Canaries will face Avellino of the same age, winners of the other Primavera 3 group after defeating Juve Stabia. The match will be ‘dry’, meaning extra time six of the ninety minutes will end in a draw, and possibly penalties.

Tickets to watch Paolo Mandelli’s gialloblù match can be purchased directly at the Mirabello box office at the price of 5 euros. The competitive weekend of the boys from Mandelli will continue tomorrow, when they will make their debut at the prestigious Dossena Trophy which takes place between Crema and the surrounding area. Modena will play in Castelleone at 9pm against Cremonese.

The yellow-blue club announced yesterday, through its channels, of a blue ribbon in the Manconi household: “Edoardo Manconi was born – Modena communication –, second child of Jacopo and Daniela. A big hug to mum, dad and the little girl Amelìe, who can’t wait to meet her little brother. Edoardo is welcomed by president Carlo Rivetti and the entire Modena FC family.”
