It is the match that counts in the A1 series, the last, the beautiful one, the one that closes the final series: the Dorics of Cosma Vela Ancona play tomorrow afternoon at 3.30pm in Romano di Lombardia against Rari Nantes Orobica. The series is at 1-1, the Ancona team won two weeks ago in Lombardy by 12-7 in a one-sided match, but then they surrendered last week in Senigallia by 9-10 in a badly played match, never lived up to expectations, struggling in attack and defence. Then there are always the opponents in the water who, after the lesson they suffered in the first leg, took countermeasures against the Dorics and achieved an excellent performance. So we’re off to a good start, just like last year against Locatelli of Genoa, when Cosma Vela missed the train to the A1 series in game 3. This time the cosmics don’t want to miss the objective, on the other hand, as coach Pace says, we train for these matches: “Last Sunday, despite not having put in a performance like ours, we played on equal terms with Orobica – he says the Dorics’ coach, Milko Pace – Everything will depend on us, on our serenity.
