Elly Schlein has arrived in Calabria: the electoral tour of the national secretary of the dem, candidate for the European elections on 8 and 9 June, touches the south of Italy. The day of May 27th is therefore dedicated to Calabria; this morning the Democrat’s leading figure arrived at Lamezia Terme where he visited the community of “Southern Project” assisted by Don Giacomo Panizza.

Here, Elly Schlein was able to see firsthand the work of the Don and his collaborators, congratulating him on the laudable initiative. He therefore took advantage of it for a discussion with the parish priest himself in which he touched on the issue of the minimum wage which is part of his electoral programme.

“This morning in Lamezia Terme from Progetto Sud which returns to the community the assets confiscated from the mafia, helping foreign minors in difficulty, disabled people without families and, more generally, those in need.
