The first concert season organized by the ‘Il Drago’ club of Terni ended successfully. Eight concerts, from 13 April to 25 May, under the masterful artistic direction of maestro Carlo Palleschi and which literally filled the ballroom of Palazzo Bianchini Riccardi, a few steps from Terni’s cathedral. «The club, a true historical institution of the city of Terni – states the president of ‘Il Drago’ Enrico Franconi – wanted to give the city an extraordinary musical season, totally free events thanks to the commitment of our artistic director Palleschi and all our partners. We have always been the club of Terni people, since our foundation in 1928. We hope that membership will grow and that the people of Terni will be able to seize this opportunity to get closer to a living room that is a familiar and welcoming environment.” From Mozart to Rossini, from Ravel and Verdi, but also swing and sounds of the Mediterranean tradition, internationally renowned performers, music for all tastes in a historical and evocative context such as that of Palazzo Bianchini Riccardi, a rich program which has seen the patronage of the Municipality of Terni. Last Saturday the great finale with Rossini’s Stabat Mater performed with the soloists and choir of the ‘Morlacchi’ conservatory of Perugia, another concert that thrilled the large audience present in the room.
