(Gianni Barone) – The echoes of the celebrations for Parma’s promotion to Serie A have not yet completely died down, and who knows when they will die down. Meanwhile, on winners’ chariotalways very spacious and welcoming, everyone is going up there, no one excluded, never mind!

But there are other speeches and other types of miracles, which apparently do not count when you win or have won, as in the case of Parma, useless speeches that certainly leave the time they find, proving excessively out of place (or out of the region, or reason). Instead, Parma, on behalf of the entire population of «Regional territorial compartment» (so in 1921 the regions were definitive, historically never existing before in our country, but designed in a questionable and not geographically correct way with the 1948 Constitution), we managed to unite what not even Bonaparte, with his lowerits Republics (with two Bs) Cisalpina and Cispadana, its enormous political and military power had never managed to do so in such absolute terms, in such a complete manner, despite having had the administrative and cadastral merit of giving a precious technical direction then collected only partly in the Duchies of the Restoration, such as that of Parma, and partly in the papal legations and delegations of Bologna and Romagna.

Just to give a bit of history on the division between our territory and that of the other provinces that make up the current, non-homogeneous, yesterday rejoicing Region. The power of football is indefinite, inscrutable in its goals, but infinite and universally useful and grateful to everyone in its gestures and ways. However, the ceremony was beautiful in which even those who had never assiduously followed the exploits of the Crociati footballers (only one presence government in Modena, by the interested party’s own admission, despite having represented the turning point), has proven capable of identifying the beauty of the game expressed by the young people of Pecchia (Like this Garibaldily defined) compared to that of all the other participating teams, despite never having seen them play, if not sporadically, given the current and pressing institutional commitments which it was impossible to escape.

There transversality in football, more than politics, it provides us with the opportunity to magnify unforgettable days of prizes and recognition, like the one experienced by the top leaders of Parma, all present – except the President (a detail, but the useless Lazio-Parma women’s match is not she missed it in ecological transoceanic flight) and the sports director (a trifle) still in office until the end of June and over whose contract renewal the most absolute and embarrassing mystery reigns.

Absences and silences that make noise and cannot, however, extinguish the sound of the joy of enthusiasm, ofpridewhich until certain news arrives, and not boutadand, rumors or worse still hoaxes, agreed upon and artfully packaged (or I disgrace), will remain in the party halls of the various municipal and regional administrations, to act as a side dish or as a forerunner for other types of celebrations following successes of a very different nature, always assuming that this can happen or materialize, there are also other «competitor» with whom we didn’t celebrate at all. But that’s it.

Consensus is not like a football match, where it is enough to score one more goal than the others or concede one less or not at all. Respect and affection are earned through defense, not of the goal or one’s own area, but of the values that are gradually being lost or forgotten in a continuously technological and environmentally evolving society, like the freedom to accept opinions. of everyone and not only those are convenient.

So, for one level playing field of feelings, sensations, actions (not just goalscoring ones) reactions, we are wary of those who would like only a part or only a noisy minority to be able to rejoice while leaving criticism, pain and infamy to others. Let’s not talk about silent majorities, belonging to the almost forgotten past, but in a regional climate of celebration let’s ask ourselves “but what’s the point of all this”, translated: could we do without it?
